The Liberia Airport (LIR) is ideally situated just 20 minutes to one hour from Costa Rica's best beaches including Hermosa, Flamingo, Conchal and Tamarindo. The Liberia Airport just underwent a fabulous new $41 million dollar International Liberia Airport expansion which saw its inaugural flight on January 12, 2012. They are going to expand and renovate again this year to accomodate more travelers coming in the area. Now passengers from around the world enjoy even better access to our spectacular Gold Coast properties.
